The Citizens Bank mobile app and website do not work. I have been unable to log in to the mobile app for months. On web, I can log in, but my account information does not display. The webpages to transfer money in and out are entirely broken. Because my relationship with the bank is paperless, I wasn't able to get my account or routing numbers to move money out. Citizens continued to charge me service charges for 7 months during this time. When I was finally able to get in touch with an agent, they told me they couldn't do anything about the service charges, and said it was essentially my fault : I could have " tried harder '' to use the money in the account via ATM or going into a local branch. While I understand the service charges are listed in the user agreement, I had absolutely zero visibility to how much money was in my checking account. I was not receiving statements from Citizens, and I did not have access to my online account due to Citizens ' technological issues across platforms. I had signed up for Citizens online, under the premise that I could use the bank online. That Citizens Bank had a broken web XXXX for over seven months, and then blamed their customer for not working harder to use Citizens ' banking services, is very predatory.
