In XX/XX/XXXX I was granted bankruptcy and the elimination of my student debt. In XX/XX/XXXX, more student loans showed up my credit report which never did prior to the bankruptcy. My lawyer reopened my case with the courts to have these included in my bankruptcy since these companies XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX didnt tell us when we asked in the original proceedings. They never responded to the court to argue that they shouldnt be discharged, so the court granted that Im no longer responsible for these loans in XX/XX/XXXX. They didnt show up on my credit report after the courts ruling. Then in XX/XX/XXXX, I went to apply for a credit card and I was denied because these loans popped again on my credit report. It said that I was in good standing and owed a {$0.00} balance but they were still joint accounts. This isnt true since the courts said Im no longer responsible for these accounts. I filed my dispute for both XXXX XXXX Equifax on XXXX XXXX. Within a week XXXX removed the accounts from my report increasing my credit score. Equifax denied my report saying consumer disagree with lender. I appealed and got same response. I have court documents saying Im no longer responsible and within a week XXXX recognized this and removed the accounts from my report but Equifax not only consistently ignores the court orders but then writes comments that I disagree with the lender when really its the lender who disagrees with the courts.
