The Aspect apartments ( Now known has the XXXX XXXX ) had a major pest infestation throughout the whole building during our stay. Our contract states that they were responsible for handeling pests and I sent many requests to the office to handle the issue to no avail. Even after multiple complaints and emails ; the issue was never tended to. Instead they issued a 7 day violation letter ( XX/XX/year> ) nearing the end of our lease stating that I was the cause of the infenstation and were in violation of our agreement. This was upsetting. There is a clause in the leasing agreement that states if they fail to hold up on their end on handeling pest infestations we were allowed to break our lease ; information detailed in our contract. We seemed to be in agreement and left the premises. The company is wrongfully accusing me of debt owed. I have documents, videos of the infestation and emails to back my claim up.
