When I first moved to XXXX, TX in XX/XX/2023, I signed a lease without seeing the property first. When I arrived, there was criminal activity and I told XXXX XXXX XXXX I would not live there. They suggested their alternative apartment building, the XXXX. I moved from XXXX XXXX the next day into the XXXX apt and requested a new lease. I never received one. I also saw my signature was digitally forged after they added new information to the original lease that hadn't been approved by me prior to my original signature. I had paid for one month 's rent and stayed in the XXXX Apt for one month before returning the keys to the maintenance person and leaving. The lease was invalid, I have never owed them further payments, and National Credit System never contacted me in writing to say they were a debt collection agency. I filed a complaint with the TX Attorney office due to the fraud and will attach that document as it goes into further detail. While living in the XXXX Apartments, someone attempted to enter my apartment while I was inside using a key. A XXXX man jumped into the pool fully clothed and when I reported it, nothing was done to sterilize the pool that people continued to swim in. There was loud construction in the apartment near the one I temporarily stayed in and I made numerous complaints to the management and the city as it was happening until XXXX at night. The place was unlivable due to the fake lease I never approved, signed or received. The conditions I was forced to live under made it uninhabitable - loud noise, someone attempting to break in, homeless activity. I never received any notice from National Credit System in writing and when I called to request verification they said they would email it to me. I have never received proof of this. I have paid my rent on time and in full to my legal living space since XX/XX/2023. I do not owe any more money to National Credit Systems or XXXX XXXX XXXX as they rented me an apartment that had criminal activity they were fully aware of due to the video taken inside the apartment they sent me prior to my moving in. I suffer from XXXX and this trauma has followed me. I need it to stop. I need National Credit Systems to understand I do NOT owe any more money for a fraudulent lease. Thank you.
