Consumer Narrative

In XXXX of XXXX, my daughter and I applied for a VA Loan to purchase the house we are now in with NFCU, we recently applied to convert to a VA loan, same type of interference. Both of us are totally XXXX XXXX veterans, our credit and income were excellent. My daughter was told that before we could apply, one of us would need to sell our house before we could do that. In order to get the house locked down, she had to take a cash quick buy which cost her around {$55000.00} from what it sold for just a couple weeks later. Then after that was done and irreversible, they told her we werent qualified for a VA loan since we were father and daughter and not husband and wife. That forced us into a conventional loan and financial hardship on my daughter and stress on both of us. Now they seem to be looking for any excuse they can use to call a denial of our complaint and loses as a resolution. They keep requesting to rerun credit which they know will damage the rating. NFCU employees have persistently refused to fix the problem, and appear to violate many of our rights as XXXX veterans. Our pain and suffering are real to us, although those who deny us our EARNED BENEFITS, dont seem to care. All NFCU has done since my daughter filed her first complaint, they have shown a pattern of manipulation, which appears to be harassment toward my daughter whos been a member for XXXX years. They have made no effort to reach a resolution, however, theyve made every effort to deny our VA Loan, no appraisal even at this point. Also, Im wondering why the resolution department at NFCU is involved in the loan process, gives me the appearance of XXXX syndrome. They have denied two XXXX totally XXXX veterans, whose family gave up their peace and health so those who hurt us could live free and safe, their rightful benefits. We are tired of being stepped on and abused by those in NFCU who dont seem to follow proper policy or laws in assisting us, they need to be stepped on hard so this is never a problem in the future, and makes me wonder how many have been denied falsely by these people who think they are so intelligent they dont need to understand and follow policy.
