I started shopping for mortgage rates on XX/XX/2023. On XX/XX/2023, I applied for pre-approval, resulting in a hard inquiry. This inquiry is listed as : XXXX XXXX XXXX via XXXX XXXX XX/XX/2023 Then, on XX/XX/2023, I applied for a second pre-approval, shopping for better rates. This resulted in a second hard inquiry, listed as : XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX via CREDCO XX/XX/2023 According to the FCRA, multiple hard inquiries for the purposes of mortgage lending/pre-approvals within a 14-day window are only counted as a single hard inquiry on my credit report. However, this is not the case currently. CREDCO/XXXX have the inquiry coded incorrectly, as several others have discovered themselves. Now that I am going through the lending process again, these multiple hard inquiries have had a negative effect on my credit score. This should be resolved immediately.
