This is a mess. I had a non-profit agency pay for my mortgage for the month of XXXX. When I had set up my payment to pay the month of XXXX on XX/XX/2024, at the time that I had submitted the transaction I did not notice that I submitted it to take it from my savings rather than my checking account, which in turn resulted as insufficient funds. I then corrected the payment to be drawn from the correct account on XX/XX/24, and the funds in the amount of {$2900.00} were successfully withdrawn and cleared from my account on XX/XX/24. Two weeks later I got a call from my mortgage lender saying they did not receive the payment. After speaking with multiple people, I was advised to send a copy of my bank statement to the mortgage lenders email. I did. A week later I had not heard from them so I called in again, only to find out that the document I sent it will not suffice and I needed to send in a different one. I then went and downloaded my entire XXXX bank statement, highlighted the transaction, and re-sent the email. I received an email once again stating that my bank statement will not show enough proof of the transaction. I called my bank asking for any other documentation that shows that the transaction cleared, but was told that that is all that they could provide. The bank also offered to speak to the mortgage company via three way call to verify the transaction, but the mortgage lender declined. I desperately need help with this situation. I am a widow, single mom of XXXX, and take care of my XXXX brother, I can not afford to have to make an extra payment.
