This is my Second Notice to Equifax For there Further Identity theft of Non public information thats inaccurate and been deleted XXXX and equifax In reference to XXXX Account number XXXX XXXX I do not understand the discrimination and and defamation on top of the identity theft methods Equifax is applying to me as a consumer I have explained in the last complaint and numerous complaints before why this account should not be reporting on my consumer file But equifax continues to dishonor me and never sent me the notice of investigation properly notifying me my concerns are being investigated Which is a violation to 15 U.S. Code 1681d - Disclosure of investigative consumer reports b ) DISCLOSURE ON REQUEST OF NATURE AND SCOPE OF INVESTIGATION Any person who procures or causes to be prepared an investigative consumer report on any consumer shall, upon written request made by the consumer within a reasonable period of time after the receipt by him of the disclosure required by subsection ( a ) ( 1 ), make a complete and accurate disclosure of the nature and scope of the investigation requested. This disclosure shall be made in a writing mailed, or otherwise delivered, to the consumer not later than days after the date on which the request for such disclosure was received from the consumer or such report was requested, whichever is the later 2 ) PROMPT NOTICE OF DISPUTE TO FURNISHER OF INFORMATION ( A ) In general Before the expiration of the 5-business-day period beginning on the date on which a consumer reporting agency receives notice of a dispute from any consumer or a reseller in accordance with paragraph ( 1 ), the agency shall provide notiWcation of the dispute to any person who provided any item of information in dispute, at the address and in the manner established with the person. The notice shall include all relevant information regarding the dispute that the agency has received from the consumer or reseller.
