I for the XXXX time EVER didn't pay my XX/XX/2024 bill in full so I was charged interest. I then paid my XX/XX/2024 bill in full and received another interest charge. I called Amex to ask why. They said when I didn't pay my entire bill in XX/XX/2024, the remaining balance continued to accrue interest until my bill was paid in full in XX/XX/2024. So the interest they are charging me, on a paid in full balance is from the previous unpaid balance that I was already charged interest for on the XX/XX/2024 bill. So I was charged {$23.00} on my XX/XX/2024 statement for not paying the full statement for XX/XX/2024, and now I'm being charged another {$15.00} has been added to my XXXX statement although my ENTIRE balance for XX/XX/2024 was paid in full. According to Amex they get to keep addidng interest until the amount is paid.
