Between XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX charges ranging from {$4.00} to {$49.00} and totalling over {$500.00} were debited using a feature I don't use nor was aware existed, cash app pay. I currently have no card for cash app and only use them for paying friends or receiving from friends. I have brought this to their attention and discovered two devices were linked to my account that were not mine, the notifications had been turned off, and fingerprint scan was defective I could use any print to open my account which is of course a clear security issue. I secured account and ensured only my single index finger would work and not all my fingers. I removed the intrusive devices, and made them aware of this breach. I have commenced 2-3 disputes where they would cut me off after selecting only a few of these charges, and tried to tell them to help make this more easier and dispute or initiate recovery efforts that are available to institution such as dispute or charge back measures. The results were 1 {$19.00} charge returned per dispute and rest denied as authorized by me. My account history contradicts this, and the two departments pass me back and forth or completely disregard this breach of trust. Cashapp is notorious for this practice. As a past merchant who utilized a business account with them I know full and well they have the ability to forcibly recover funds and debit the linked account of the other party to recover the funds which I was subjected to in XXXX. Rather than working with me as a customer they tell me to bad and continue to shut me down and refuse to get to the bottom of this. The entity in question is a foreign casino, that is not licensed to operate in this country and definitely not in Minnesota as it is unable to be regulated for obvious reasons. I have never heard of XXXX, and had to do extensive research to find it is a processor of payments o and out for gaming establishments overseas. Cashapp attempts to save face be telling me to file a police report regarding the charges in question, however they seem to lack any form of legal knowledge, if I'm in Minnesota, cashapp is in California, and the merchant is based elsewhere internationally XXXX XXXX XXXX Police will tell me the crime occurred outside of our jurisdiction, when I try to inquire further on this I am told they have answered with all they can to help my issue and close out the communication amd I am met with their AI who puts me in contact with another advocate and the generic responses repeated over a half a dozen times in the past two days. They provide no written explanation for denial and say they will give documents used to determine their decision than ask for information that I don't possess in order to get the documents, yet all the documents will say is cash app pay and allege myself of someone with my consent made the charges. But again my account history contradicts this claim, as there is no history of same or similar charges before or since these ones. They are not engaging in fair resolutions and the banking partner fails to comply with Regulation E dispute resolutions. And absent valid cause for denial they are required to deposit the disputed amount in the account, as your agency is fully knowledged in these regulations. I have told them I am more than happy to have my funds returned and allowed to transfer to my trustworthy financial provider and they can close the account as they have breach the trust with me and they have been known not to care about customers and long history of bad business practices ultimately leading up to the XXXX of their executive in California, for this same pattern of corruption. I just want my hard earned and rightfully belongs to me Income and XXXX loan refunds. The funds were for my expenses and such and when I go to send it to the friend who covers the expenses i find an empty account. Times I transfer a small amount only to shorty have it pulled by this merchant. And cashapp conducting a same day or following day Investigation that is denied, that falls far short of the minimum ten day up to ninety day investigation that is common place with reputable financial institutions. They are not acting in good faith or holding the consumers best interest and they lack the capacity to be accountable.
