Consumer Narrative
I am formally writing this complaint because my credit report is being damaged by the company XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have disputed with XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX regarding inaccurate information that they have furnished with the consumer reporting agencies for the past 2 months to no avail. They did not correct the inaccuracies I provided them in my letters along with copies of supporting documents and they were given multiple chances to do so. As a result of their consistent failure, I requested to XXXX XXXX for the account to be removed for both XXXX and TRANSUNION and told them that they would be liable for reporting misinformation, but they ignored my request to do so and still will not let up regarding the fact that they were wrong and had failed to correct and update the info that they had furnished with the CRAs. I provided documentation showing that there are bonified inaccuracies and that the account information in my consumer disclosure reports did not match up. Specifically, regarding the late payment dates showing in the payment history. " XXXX, XXXX ''. I have attached 2 consumer disclosure reports and a credit report from a 3rd party company which are all showing inaccurate info reported from XXXX XXXX XXXX. The Fair Credit Reporting Act 15 U.S.C. 1681s-2 ( b ) states ( B ) Reporting information after notice and confirmation of errors A person shall not furnish information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if ( i ) the person has been notified by the consumer, at the address specified by the person for such notices, that specific information is inaccurate; and ( ii ) the information is, in fact, inaccurate. XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX has not been complying by this law. It is not fair, and it is abusive and damaging to my reputation and credit worthiness. Furnishers must : conduct a reasonable investigation review all relevant information provided by the consumer report results to the consumer, generally within 30 days notify each CRA to which you provided inaccurate information if the investigation finds the information was inaccurate. Furnisher Rule 660.4 ( e ). XXXX XXXX XXXX is still reporting inaccurate information to the consumer reporting agencies. I am filing in request for remedy regarding this matter. Please see the evidence provided once more.
