I was given a collection debt notification on my XXXX XXXX account. When I checked the details of said account it stated it was opened in XX/XX/XXXX ( which is interesting because at this time I was leaving peace corps in XXXX and Beginning to enter XXXX XXXX in XXXX, so I dont I believe I was even in the states at the time of the account opening. ) with that being said, I know for a fact I didnt allow my credit card to used by anyone in XX/XX/XXXX, as I didnt even have a credit card opened until XXXX. I can provide proof of this all. When I called the collector company today on XX/XX/XXXX to discuss their proof, they stated to hold on then hung up on me. I tried calling back to no avail. I have XXXX the XXXX in question and everything on XXXX reviews stated this company being a scam that fraudulently takes money from any account that lets them slide by. Please rectify this injustice. They have had continuous complaints on the XXXX website and are continually oppressing those they believe dont have the knowledge or power to do something about it.
