On XX/XX/2023, I sent an Identity theft letter to XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX, and despite more than 30 days passing, I have not received a response nor has XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX complied with my request, a clear violation of 15 U.S.Code 1681i ( 6 ) ( A ) and 15 U.S.Code 1681i ( a ) ( 1 ). Attached are the letters that were mailed on On XX/XX/2023 and an updated FTC identity theft report. According to FCRA, debt collectors must respond to disputes and requests from consumers within 30 days, yet ( XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX has not made a single call or sent a letter addressing the disputes I've mailed. This blatant disregard for FCRA Section 611 ( A ) ( 1 ) could result in fines of up to {$1000.00} per violation. Failure to provide proof or verification within the required timeframe necessitates the removal of this account from the consumer 's report, as the lack of response indicates an inability to validate or verify the account, a violation of FDCPA Section 809 ( b ).
