I signed up for a promotional XXXX XXXX interest rate. On XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX, I received an email from the company : " Your XXXX XXXX introductory APR on purchases and balance transfers expires on XX/XX/XXXX ''. So, I paid off the whole balance on XX/XX/XXXX, to avoid the interest. However, the company still charged the interest. I tried to resolve the issue over the phone multiple times and tried to talk to the manager, but they told me that the promotional period actually expired on XX/XX/XXXX and that they were not able to reverse the interest. I think this is a misleading practice that the company is doing to intentionally make their customers accumulate interest. If I had known that my promotional period expires on XX/XX/XXXX, I would have paid it off earlier. It would be better if they didn't send anything at all, rather than that misleading information.
