Received summons approximately XX/XX/XXXX from county regarding credit card debt collection via XXXX XXXX I, XXXX XXXX, represented by Javitch Block Llc for {$1500.00} from XXXX. XXXX filed XX/XX/XXXX with XXXX XXXX XXXX. According to county case site, court date was XX/XX/XXXX. I am unsure why I missed court date, but I believe it is was due to time gap between notice and setting. I have never received any mailings from XXXX XXXX regarding collection notification. XX/XX/XXXX I received notice via my employer that my wages were being garnished. Contacted XXXX and was instructed to contact Javitch Block Llc. Spoke with representative at Javitch Block Llc on XX/XX/XXXX to inquiry case since I have never received notice from them except summons from county two years prior in XXXX. Asked rep why I was not contacted regarding debt or potential wage garnishment and was told " all information has already been provided ''. Let rep know that I have not received any mailings from them nor XXXX but was told again that " was not true ''. Was asked if I wanted to settle over the phone to stop garnishment and I declined and was going to seek legal counsel. Debt is now past statute of limitations. I was never provided with my rights to dispute, proof of debt validity, nor notification that wage garnishment process had begun
