To whom it may concern, I am writing to file an official complaint against Curaao and XXXX for providing false payment history on my credit report. I had an account with CURAAO beginning in XXXX, I experienced a hardship between XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX in which I was late on my payments. I was able to pay off the account completely to CURAAO in XX/XX/XXXX. Now comes XX/XX/XXXX, I am purchasing a vehicle and XXXX was the only credit agency reporting this account as charged off. This affected the payments and the interest of the car I decided to purchase. I was under the impression for months that I was in good standing with my credit by looking at it consistently through XXXX and XXXX and a charge off is suddenly showing on XXXX from a credit card I had paid off in XXXX. Although there were some late payments, the account should not be marked as a charge off because the debt was collected. It is showing on my report that there is XXXX negative months on this account and thats false. I tried to dispute this twice and they are claiming that the information is correct. I called Curaao and they confirmed the account was paid off, I have a bank statement from XX/XX/XXXX with the payment made to Curaao.
