Resurgent capital has been reporting. A fraud account on my credit. I have sent them overwhelming documents proving this account is fraud and yet they keep saying it is verified as mine. I've asked them to send me proof that this is supposedly mine and all I get is a generic answer and a billing statement from the original creditor. This does not prove this is my account only that there is a billing statement! I can not file a police report due.to the age of the fraud account. Its beyond 3 years!! This is an account from XXXX and can not by law be reported nor collected on due to the statute of limitations on Louisiana debt collection. My local State Atty General office was contacted to be made aware of this and I was told that they reached. Out to XXXX. THIS NEEDS TO BE REMOVED ASAP!
