Consumer Narrative
I recently reviewed a copy of my consumer report. I was shocked to learn that I have been a victim of identity theft. These offenses amount to Aggravated Identity Theft pursuant to 18 U.S.C 1028A and 15 USC 1681q. You have knowingly transferred, possessed or used, without lawful authority, a means of identification of me, which is a felony punishable with up to 2 years of imprisonment, in addition to civil liability. I found numerous accounts on my consumer report that were not open by me. Addition to this I have not given any consumer reporting agency written permission to put anything on my consumer report. The law states per 15 USC 1681b Permissible purpose of consumer reports IN GENERAL Subject to subsection ( c ) any consumer reporting agency may furnish a consumer report under the following circumstances and no other : ( 2 ) In accordance with the written instructions of the consumer to whom it relates. Therefore, these accounts should not be reported on my consumer report. This has also caused infringement of my right to privacy for advertising this alleged debt that I do not owe nor have an agreement and/or personal responsibility contract with on my consumer report. This has been hurting me and causing my mental health to be disturbed with severe harm and extreme XXXX as I am in the process of buying a home for my family. It is also unlawful for the advertisement of any debt to coerce payment per 15 U.S Code 1692d Harassment or abuse. Please remove the fraudulent accounts from my credit report as soon as possible.
