I am writing to formally express my grave concerns and to file a complaint regarding the egregious mismanagement of my nonpublic personal information and the significant inaccuracies and disorganization present within my consumer report. This letter not only serves as a formal complaint but also as a revocation of any verbal, non-verbal, written, or unwritten consent that may have been previously extended for the use and dissemination of my personal and financial information by a quite a few of reporting agencies.Unauthorized Disclosure and Use of Nonpublic Personal Information has exclusively been revoked of any form of consent for information sharing, these agencies have continued to disseminate my personal information. This action is in direct violation of the privacy obligations outlined in the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) and the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act ( GLBA ) .Also it is a violation of the Privacy act of XXXX ! 15 U.S.C. 6801-6809 clearly gives me the right to Opt out as well .Key statutes that the CFPB upholds include : with that being said 16 CFR 313.1 - Purpose and scope. ( b ) Scope. This part applies only to nonpublic personal information about individuals who obtain financial products or services primarily for personal, family or household purposes from the institutions listed below 313.15 Other exceptions to notice and opt out requirements. ( a ) Exceptions to opt out requirements. The requirements for initial notice in 313.4 ( a ) ( 2 ), for the opt out in 313.7 and 313.10, and for service providers and joint marketing in 313.13 do not apply when you disclose nonpublic personal information : ( 1 ) With the consent or at the direction of the consumer, provided that the consumer has not revoked the consent or direction ; which i have now revoked! Further as someone in a reputable position, it's disconcerting to witness the egregious lack of accuracy and organization in the reporting practices of XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. The reporting is so egregious that i wont be able to fit all parties involved and thus have to split a few companies up amongst this complaint.It looks like my report was tossed in a XXXX cup and spat out on my file.All jokes aside the state of my consumer report is deeply troubling ; it is riddled with inaccuracies and appears as though the information has been haphazardly compiled without regard for accuracy or organization. This lack of precision and order is not only a disservice to me as a consumer but is a clear violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), particularly as it pertains to the accuracy and integrity of information, as stipulated under XXXX5 U.S.C. 1681e ( b ) and 1681i ( a ). Such conditions are not only unacceptable but illegal, as they contravene the FCRA 's requirements for accuracy and integrity of information.Given the gravity of these infractions and their impact on my life, I am requesting the CFPB 's immediate assistance in investigating these practices and imposing the appropriate penalties on the offending agencies and bureaus. The actions of these entities not only undermine my financial stability but also highlight a broader issue of noncompliance that could affect countless consumers.
