Consumer Narrative
My wife lost her job and we applied for a mortgage modification. We made the XXXX months of payments and were given the final mortgage modification agreement to sign. My wife since losing her job took a job with XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX. PHH states that they can only accept notarized paper signatures I submitted a document with notarized e-signatures and was told that I would have to have my wife mail a document from the village she is in to the US to get this modification accepted.
