During the pandemic I made late payments to my previous Mortgage Company Mr. Cooper. The payments were late due to me losing my part-time job. My loan was always current I just ran behind occasionally. I submitted a letter of forgiveness citing the " Cares Act '' and Mr. Cooper has refused to meet with me to discuss that difficult time. The " Cares Act '' reported consumers would not report late payments during the pandemic. I would like Mr. Cooper to remove all late payments if possible as they were made during a difficult time. Currently my report shows my mortgage was paid late XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. That time was difficult for all consumers so asking for forgiveness isn't new. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
