I went to XXXX XXXX to pay my credit card bill. The cashier charged me {$250.00} in error as I only wanted to pay {$200.00}. She corrected her mistake and charged me {$200.00}. On my bank statement on XX/XX/23 I received charges for {$250.00} and {$200.00} and then received a credit on XX/XX/23 for {$250.00} error which makes sense. The {$200.00} payment made at the store was never credited to my credit card. I have called Comenity Bank many times. In XXXX, they investigated and sent me a letter that I will need to resolve with the store. I went to the store and was given a business card with a customer service number. I called and was connected with Comenity Bank again. I opened a complaint at XXXX XXXX who said it will take XXXX weeks to investigate. General Support -Claims [ Incident : XXXX ]. I have been charged late fees, interest and my credit score has been affected not to mention all the time and frustration. I was told today they can not reverse late fees without a payment so they want me to pay again when I already paid. It appears there is a loss prevention problem at XXXX XXXX and noone is willing to help. I highly suggest no one make payments at the store. I need this issue resolved and am hoping for help.
