Consumer Narrative

Based on my credit report the account was falsely opened in 2021 at XXXX. The only interaction that I had with this club was a free trial. To acquire a free trial I had to provide first name last name and Identification and sign for the trial, this was explained to me by the front desk person at the time. I never agreed, or signed any binding contract beyond a trial basis. The company Allied is now collecting for a debt that I simply was not aware i ever acquired and says that it is for XXXX XXXX month term. total amount owed was XXXX I have never made and payments towards this balance because I was under the impression it was only a trail. I had decided that the XXXX wasn't for me after XXXX day trial and i didn't want to sign up for a membership. This account was opened on false pretenses of a trial and was a bait and switch situation. I was mislead in the trail and now they are repotting to my credit
