I went to court with OneMain Financial over an unpaid personal loan that went to collections and was reflected negatively in my credit report. OneMain Financial and I settled out of court on XX/XX/XXXX, agreeing to mutually release and mutually dismiss the case. In section XXXX of the settlement, XXXX agreed to remove the account entirely from my consumer credit reports. As of today, XX/XX/XXXX, this derogatory mark is still in my credit report and needs to be removed. I have not been able to get a hold of anyone at OneMain to get this to happen. I've been advised to reach out to CFPB to address this.
