In XX/XX/, called ULTA about a balance on the credit card. I asked to pay the balance in full and close the account. Both of those were done. I paid precisely the full balance. Subsequently they said there was an additional finance charge of {$2.00}, which over the subsequent months has now gone up 700 % to {$14.00}. It is not a lot but I am incensed by the principle of this. When you ask to pay the balance in full and close the account, they have no business going back and adding XXXX XXXX finance charges which then accumulate. You can not be faulted for not bothering with statements for an account that you paid in full and closed. Their response was its in the contract. They feel they were under no obligation to tell me the correct amount to close the account. I feel these subsequent add on fees are bogus and that why I am writing to you
