XXXX years ago a company I provide services to sent me an American Express {$500.00} gift card. They have also done this for the past XXXX years. In preparation to use these cards for a purchase, I went online to check and confirm the balance. The XXXX most recent cards were valid and balances were full, this first card was listed as inoperative. I called the American Express gift card phone number on the back of the card and have spent hours speaking with representatives giving me different informational paths. The most recent person I spoke to on XXXX XXXX said he would send a replacement card in XXXX to XXXX days. That card has not been received, and when speaking with another agent today on XX/XX/XXXX I was told that I needed to send more documents. I have not used the card and I want them to send me a replacement {$500.00} gift card. This card shows a XX/XX/2031 expiration date. The documents that they are asking me to send include my drivers license, pictures of this card, front and back, and a receipt. No receipt is available as I received this card from a large corporate entity and the people involved in the purchase and gifting of this card are unavailable.
