Noticed a small collection amount of {$320.00} on my consumer credit profile ( all 3 bureaus ) by Genesis for an address I have never resided at or applied for. Requested itemization or any written documentation in regard to what they are collecting on in XXXX oXXXX XXXX then again in XXXX of XXXX Both requests went unanswered. Contacted Genesis again by phone on XX/XX/XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX at XXXX CST , spoke with a representative that stated they can not provide any written documentation as to what is being collected on, and to simply pay the bill in full or we will continue reporting and you will continue to have this on your report. Once again told the representative that I am simply asking for any information on what this debt is before I can make an informed decision on if I should pay or dispute this debt, and that I can not move forward with resolution until i know WHAT this debt is for. Representative continued to repeat that they will not send me anything as to what this debt is, and could be an app fee or something like that. Once again requested for a possible copy of the original collection letter, invoice, or anything of that nature for me to verify what this is, and again, to make an informed decision on best course of action to proceed. Representative stated they weve already validated the debt on our end and we will not send anything or provide further details, because we are not required to. Once again let the rep know that if I was to pay, I simply would like to know what this is for. It is negatively impacting my consumer profile, and I am being cornered into paying a debt that I have not received notice, bill, invoice, or any information regarding this matter. Due to the companys unwillingness or inability to provide proper documentation or chain of command for this debt I fully believe this goes against my consumer rights and request for it to be removed immediately from all three of my credit reportings.
