My Credit card account with Capital One was closed and charged off by them in XXXX of XXXX. They update the status to seem like it was charged off just this month ( over XXXX years later ) and do so every month. The statute of limitations for this debt has expired but the company continues to lower my score each month by re reporting the last date of activity to be the prior month in order to reset the clock on an old debt. The last activity in this account was XX/XX/XXXX ( over XXXX years ago ) and no activity occurred after that aside from them closing the account and charging it off in XXXX of XXXX.
