On XX/XX/year>, I received an email from Affirm ( www.affirm.com ) stating that an account was created using my email address, for a person named " XXXX ''. I do not know who XXXX is. I did not verify such account creation with my email address, and did not ever and do not now consent to doing business with Affirm. Affirm did not take appropriate steps to verify that my email address was associated with the correct person. Since Affirm does not know their customer, I am concerned that this increases the probability of fraud. Despite multiple tries navigating Affirm 's website and calling their toll-free number, I am unable to find a way to communicate this to Affirm so that my email address can be removed from their system. Every avenue I could find leads, at best, to a form that does not address this problem. Affirm does not provide a way that could be reasonably used to rectify this problem.
