Consumer Narrative

I was given a {$700.00} American Express Gift Card from my company as a holiday gift. The card has not worked ANYWHERE and has been declined in person using my XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX, has been declined on Online merchants such as XXXX. I am at a loss of {$700.00} because AMEX has scammed me into another wasteful gift card. This happened years ago with an AMEX GC and now is happening again. I decided to file a formal complaint this time against American Express for their fraudulent practices.
