In XXXX of XXXX I was double charged by an airline provider. The airline applied the same charges to XXXX different credit cards. I notified Avant in XXXX of XXXX of what happened and disputed the transaction. They asked for any proof that the airline charged both cards, which I provided. After I emailed the proof, I didnt hear from Avant again until they denied my dispute. Shortly after, I called their customer service and was disrespectfully told that there was nothing they could do. Since then, my account has been collecting interest and late fees that total more than the limit of the credit card. I have a {$780.00} balance on a card that only has a {$300.00} limit. I have tried to close my account several times and was given an ultimatum that they would only close the account if I agreed in writing to all of the ridiculous charges and fees added to the account. The account is currently still open and collecting interest against my wishes.
