I had a debt with XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX, btw I am using my daughters email address as I dont have an email address of my own because I dont check email. Anyways, I lost my job during the period of having that credit card account. I called XXXX XXXX and told them, they were not very helpful and said sorry call us when you can pay {$600.00}, that was apparently my minimum. I was not working and couldnt afford it. I got collection calls about this debt and explained my situation. I never received collection letters and I keep my mail for 3 years. I have no collection letter about this credit card. Next thing I know, I am receiving letters from Blitt and Gaines saying I will be sued?!?! How can I be sued when I was never given any collection letters from XXXX XXXX? I called Blitt and Gaines several times, emailed them, and sent them a letter to ask for a settlment agreement. They have not responded. I am XXXX XXXX XXXX and not working. My poor daughter is unemployed and using her unemployment money to help pay this debt. I am in deep turmoil. They are threatening to sue me without any due process of debt collection and arent willing to work with me on a settlement. Its unfair and illegal.
