Received a letter from National Service Bureau on XXXX ( letter was dated XXXX ) stating I had a 5 day notice to respond to them or else I could face my license being suspended, or removal of my vehicle registration. They say this is because I did not have insurance when I was in an auto accident on XXXX. This is false as the vehicle was on a loan, and insurance is automatically applied by bank, and I had insurance through my credit union. There is also nothing on my credit report stating anything is in collections. They have contacted my family members as well through phone. They have attempted to call me on numerous numbers, but I do not answer phone calls from unknown numbers. I have not reached out to them because I doubt the legitimacy of this agency, and I am worried any contact could increase harassment. I provided insurance information to credit union at time of accident and vehicle was totaled out, and insurance paid around XXXX for vehicle if my memory is accurate.
