Consumer Narrative

In XXXX of XXXX, I purchased a storage from XXXX XXXX XXXX. I was offered two financing options : Pay Tomorrow and XXXX. I chose Pay Tomorrow due to their lower monthly payment and longer pay off time frame. I was not sent a contract or information so between XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX I emailed the storage shed company for updates. Since I had not received a contract from pay tomorrow, I reached out to PayTomorrow to specifically ask if someone can go over my payment plan with me. On XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX, I emailed the following email I found based on information from their website asking if someone can go over my payment plan with me. I emailed it to XXXX. I immediately received a confirmation of message received and that someone would get back to me. At XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX from XXXX, sent me an email and stated that I financed with them for the amount of the {$3300.00}. She stated I signed the contracts for 24 months. The 1st 12 months goes towards my lease and the last 12 months goes towards my loan. In my lease portion your payments are {$120.00} twice-monthly and after I fulfill that I will automatically transition towards my loan at {$96.00} twice-monthly. I have paid a total of {$2900.00} ( XXXX XXXX XXXX months ). I emailed them again intermittently asking for a date to be adjusted. Otherwise, I allowed the deductions per my account. I noticed the email domain changed in XXXX of XXXX to XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I emailed customer service again and asked when the deduction of {$96.00} would begin as I have paid my XXXX for one year. XXXX XXXX told me that my payments should start by XXXX or XXXX because my first payment was made XX/XX/XXXX. I have now made 4 payments of XXXX totaling {$380.00}. This, combined with the {$2900.00} totals {$3300.00} to date of the total cost of the merchandise which is {$3300.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a credit alert that a company called PayTomorrow opened a new account under my name and I have another loan out for {$2000.00}. Therefore, my credit score dropped XXXX points. I immediately emailed PayTomorrow asking for this to be rectified. After several emails back and forth they sent me TWO contracts with my typed name outlining a loan agreement and a lease agreement totaling over {$5000.00} to be paid for the {$3300.00} storage shed. I let them know I have never received two contracts let alone signed two contracts because I would not purchase an item costing {$3300.00} with over {$2000.00} added on to the cost-it defeats the purpose of the financing. I also explained that those are not my LEGAL signatures and are typed versions of my name. The agent told me my typed name is like a wet signature and I agreed to the added cost via the loan/lease split that totals {$5400.00}. When I stared the email from XXXX XXXX as proof of how much I financed with them, the agent told me XXXX was only talking about ONE part of my payment agreement and I have two. I explained they can produce whatever they like with a TYPED signature but the bottom line is they misled another customer, added hidden charges, and produced documents with hidden costs that contain my typed name that I did NOT agree to nor received and are basically stealing my money. I also stated that I had researched and saw many customers like me who were victims of the same fraud by the same company they added hidden costs, produced additional documentation for these hidden costs unbeknownst to the customer and double charged many customers and ruined their credit scores-so I am not the first. PayTomorrow is a fraudulent company. They are now stealing my money, havedropped my credit score, have opened a NEW account in my name without my permission and sent two documents that I did not sign with my personal signature. This is fraud, theft and deception and as I am writing this, I have sought legal counsel and have an appointment later this afternoon. This company has already been sent screenshots and proof of emails. They continue to deny everything and are now refusing to respond.
