I am a victim of identity theft. My information was stolen from Equifax during the Data Breach, along with numerous other breaches. I have tried to contact Equifax online, which is what they request, however, my disputes are being disregarded and my 605 ( b ) Fraud Block request is not being honored despite providing information that Equifax asks for in order to place the block. I am asking the CFPB to intervene and get inquiries removed along with a XXXX XXXX XXXX account ending in XXXX blocked. I have had a freeze in place for some time, yet somehow applications are getting through. I applied for a XXXX XXXX Credit card on XX/XX/XXXX ( shows as XXXX ), and that is the only inquiry that should be there. The rest are not mine. They must be removed as they are not part of any transaction I initiated. Documents are attached.
