On XX/XX/2024 I received a text with a confirmation number to access an account with Chime, even though I have never attempted to open account with this bank. When I called in to report fraud, I was told that someone accidentally used my phone number and the issue was resolved. A few hours later I received a marketing email from Chime, again I called in this time was told that someone accidentally used my email to open an account and that my email would be removed. Shortly after hanging up I received a email to set up a password for an account. I then again called back in, I was told the same information from chime from the previous call about my email being used. There appears to be someone using my unique email and phone number to open account and there is nothing else Chime is doing to look into this or monitor.
