Dear CAINE WEINER, I am writing to express my serious concerns regarding Account # XXXX your unauthorized access to my personal information, which is a clear breach of my privacy rights. This unauthorized access has been used in an attempt to coerce me into paying a debt I am not obligated to pay. Under the Texas Business and Commerce Code 521.053 and the Identity Theft Enforcement and Protection Act, businesses are required to report any data breach of system security that affects Texans to the Office of the Texas Attorney General. Furthermore, it is unlawful for any person to obtain, possess, transfer, or use personal identifying information of another person without the other persons consent.
