Signed up with Affirm because they advertised their 4.37 % interest rate with their savings account. Seemed easy and trustworthy as they are used on a lot of popular websites such as XXXX and XXXX. Transferred XXXX XXXX ( meant to try {$8.00} ) ; Affirm customer service said they could not assist. Then escalated but they never reached back out within the timeframe provided ( XXXX hours ). Now, the funds have cleared in Affirms savings account but can not transfer due to a random freeze which none of the companys agents have access to, allegedly. I requested for my routing and account number so I can attempt a withdrawal but they refused. Affirm shows Available Balance : {$8000.00}. My credit union recommended I reach out again but I already have and it seems to be common -via Reddit forum. I understand Affirms savings accounts are held by XXXX XXXX XXXX : They are a New Jersey State Chartered Commercial Bank, Member FDIC.
