I was notified that are info was released accidently by a firm we did business with in the past. I then put a freeze immediately at XXXX and XXXX. Now my last one Equifax says that their system is down try later. I tried fir several days and nothing. Then I starting getting fake robo calls that a code I requested was coming in followed by a code. I hung up on this several times 10 to be exact. To me it seems suspicious that equifaxs system is always down and then I got these calls. I believe that they are scaring consumers so that they will sign up for credit protection services, rather than allowing consumers to freeze their accounts.
