I took a loan from OneMain Financial three years ago. The payments were not going down. I was paying on time they kept saying my bank was returning the payments I had to switch banks its just been a nightmare for the last three years eventually I just let them take my car that I put down as collateral because I couldnt take it anymore. They harassed me so much I had to have them blocked from communication except via mail. They kept editing my online account so anytime I try to make a payment through the account. It would tell me I would have to call. I did reach out to the New York State Department of financial services and consumer complaints about this a year ago and I just read an article that they are being sued and I completely understand why
