I was contacted by the original owner of the debt in XXXX to collect payment. I sent an email detailing my intent to pay and set up a payment plan. I paid the balance down from {$260.00} to {$140.00} with the understanding that the rest would be automatically withdrawn. This never happened and XXXX the XXXX this year I received an invoice from the company for {$140.00} and just a few days later I began receiving communication from HF holdings regarding this account with a higher balance. I called today XX/XX/XXXX with the intent to straighten out the balance and pay it on full I was berated and belittled by XXXX due to my poor history of payment, when I was trying to explain and provide proof he refused to hear me and ultimately disconnected the call. I called back and spoke with someone else who claimed to be the supervisor to resolve this matter he asked me to send documents to the same gentleman as before stating since XXXX started the process I would have to deal with him still. He reprimanded as well for the prior call stating that my behavior was foul and that he didn't believe me either due to people constantly lying to them. After I provided the proof I was told the amount would be corrected and asked if I could pay it over the phone I declined due to body of proof and stated that I would pay it online so that I could receive a receipt. After hanging up I went to the website to resolve and they had not adjusted the amount I emailed XXXX yet again regarding the adjustment to which he responded with a very sarcastic and facetious manner I re-emailed regarding the adjustment specifically noting the need to change the amount. It is my belief that this company has no real intent in resolving the issue and my poor treatment and harassment has been proof as they have yet to correct the amount and make it incredibly hard to make this payment in full.
