XXXX XXXX started the process for installing solar but we canceled the project in XXXX XXXX before any work was done. I received an email from Mosaic in XX/XX/XXXX that loan payment will start. After inquiring with both companies I found out XXXX XXXX took out a loan in my name in XX/XX/XXXX even though the project was canceled. XXXX XXXX admitted the loan was taken out by mistake and said they would start the cancelation process but after several days I didn't hear anything. I then contacted Mosaic and they said they would start the cancelation process from their end. After not getting anywhere after contacting them several times, I submitted a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Shortly afterwards I was contacted by XXXX XXXX that they notified Mosaic about the cancelation. As of XXXX XXXX XXXX I had no estimate for when this would be resolved and Mosaic recommended I still pay on XX/XX/XXXX to avoid negatively impacting my credit. Finally after making a XXXX complaint about Mosaic I got confirmation that both companies agree it should be canceled and that it would be canceled within 10 to 15 days. They still recommend I pay to avoid credit issues. I heard nothing and finally contacted them on XXXX XXXX XXXX and they said they are still waiting from funds from XXXX XXXX and as such I should still continue making payments. This is a fraudulent loan made well past cancelation and for services never rendered.
