Wells Fargo is in breach of their own card member service agreement during my XX/XX/2023 statement cycle. I accidentally took out a XXXX XXXX. for XXXX on XXXX. I made a payment for {$100.00} on XX/XX/ on XX/XX/ I then made another payment for XXXX on XX/XX/XXXXXXXX I then made another payment for {$1300.00}. During this time I was a card promotional period where I was being charge 0 % interest until XXXX XXXX Well Fargo did not apply any of my payments towards the XXXX XXXX but instead applied the payments towards the purchases which were at 0 % interest. the following month they changed the amount of my XXXX XXXX balance to {$1500.00} when I did not take another advances they continue to assess fees and interest. according to their own cardmember agreement that states that How do we apply your payments? Minimum Payment Generally, we process your minimum payment in the following order : Lower APR balances ( such as Purchases ) Higher APR balances ( such as XXXX XXXX ) Amounts in Excess of the Minimum Payment If you pay more than your required minimum payment, generally we apply the excess first to the higher APR balances and then to lower ones.
