Today ( XXXX ) I received an email from GRAIN stating my credit limit has dropped. When I opened my account I had a high credit limit and was working on my credit so when they offered me XXXX I wanted it. As years passed my credit situation became better and I learned how high interest rates cost you a lot of money in the long run, but still I didnt close my account with grain because I was about to buy a new home and was told the accounts opened with long history makes your credit stronger even though in my mind Im knowing their fees are extremely high and Im not using this account they just bill me month to month. When I went to close my account it states I cant because I have to have a XXXX balance in order for them to return my security deposit when in fact I never put a a security deposit and I am tired of them and I want to end my relationship! They are not brick and mortar and you cant even get no one on the phone ever and Im sick of it!! On top of that you lower my credit limit this is the lowest credit limit I have over 17 credit cards and everthing I have is over XXXX dollar limits so for them to think Im about to settle for this low limit as if Im fresh outta high school and just learning to manage personal credit is crazy I dont want it wont stand for it and there is no need for them to keep lowering but every year right before they charge this high XXXX fee they charge next month no!!!!! I rather close my account and be done with this XXXX because I am better than that now and can go into any bank or credit union right now and get the best rate and better credit terms out there. Can someone please contact someone on their team and get them to close my account. In life it has never ever been this hard to close an account even if you owe a balance they just bill you until youre done paying it off so what makes grain think they are above the law and set up their system where you cant speak to no one, they give you a few options in self help on what they think you may ask, and then you send a request and wait until someone decides on their own when they will respond to you I am not taking it from them anymore NO!!!!!!!!!!!! Its XXXX and XXXX and they need to be stopped!
