My sister 's XXXX account was compromised. The scammer then called me, pretending to be her, urgently asking for help while claiming to be in the XXXX and in need of money due to a delayed process. Believing it to be true, I rushed to WesternUnion to send the money, thinking it would be delivered quickly. After completing the transfer, I repeatedly called my sister 's XXXX, but there was no response. Concerned, I contacted her husband, only to shockingly discover they hadn't reached out for help, and my sister wasn't XXXX at all.
