An account with Chime was opened without my consent. The account was created using my email address and phone number. I was able to change the password and login where I noticed the address was old ( have not lived there for many years ). I called Chime and had the account closed, but it makes no sense to me why someone would open/access an account which requires verification that will only be sent to me ( phone and email ). I did confirm with Chime that my social security number is needed in order to open the account.
