Dividend Solor financed our solar system for {$78000.00} and paid the provider ( XXXX XXXX ) in full before the system was completely installed and working properly. XXXX XXXX went bankrupt, and we are stuck with a system that does work properly and a roof that was damaged during installation. Dividend offered to defer payment until the system was installed and all issues were corrected. This initial repair took over six months. During the initial first try, the repair team noticed damage to my roof from the initial installation of the solar panels. The project team said they would send a team out to look at the roof and said it may take a few months, it has now been over six months and the the wood under my roof continues to deteriorate so I have contracted to have the repairs done out of pocked for almost {$8000.00} Once the initial try was finished, Dividend ended the deferred payment and closed the case and did not notify me or communicate anything to me. Since I was not notified, I did not make any payments thinking I was still in deferment. They have since added nonpayment to my credit report and sent the account to collections. They are not willing to discuss any alternatives even though I am willing to bring the account current as long as they remove the credit delinquency and pay for or at least part of the roof repair. I think this lender has some liability and only wants to dispose of any and all account associated with XXXX XXXX, leaving me and other victims holding the bag.
