I received a {$500.00} American Express gift card from my employer as a gift & literally everywhere I try to use it online & in person the card gets declined yet it still has the {$500.00} on it. The only thing American Express doesn't decline is the tiny verification fees of adding the card details to an account/app of course that they leave pending forever & don't get back. So I'm stuck with a {$500.00} American Express Gift card that literally gets declined everywhere & I can't use at all. What makes this even more annoying is that American Express & their Amex Gift cards claim to be usable anywhere with the false advertising yet its literally getting declined everywhere, like how are you going to decline the card that clearly is activated & has plenty of money on it yet theyre only responses are to " check you have sufficient funds ''.
