Per 15 U.S. Code 6802 - Obligations with respect to disclosures of personal information I am opting out of my information being reported to a nonaffiliated third party. Per 15 U.S. Code 6802 " the consumer is given the opportunity, before the time that such information is initially disclosed, to direct that such information not be disclosed to such third party ; '' I was never given or notified of an option to opt out before the time any information ( payment history, account balance, late payments ) was reported to the credit bureaus ( nonaffiliated third party ). As you may know everytime my account information was sharing to a nonaffiliated party without giving me prior notice or option to opt out is {$1000.00} per violation. The debt was sold to a 3rd pary and is now charged off. When a debt has been charged off it is now considereed a certifiacte of indebtness which is considered income and income can not be reported to credit report.
