I purchased the cards ( 4 vanilla gift card visas each {$500.00} which totaled {$2000.00} ) XX/XX/. Upon getting home 15 minutes after purchase I went to open all the cards and activate them for my childrens XXXX gifts. It was at that time I realized all 4 cards XXXX codes were completely scratched off under the sealed package and glued back together to look untocuhed. I contacted vanilla giftcard dispute immediately to cancel those 4 giftcards and get a replacement card in time for XXXX. They said my cards all still have the {$500.00} on them so they would be able to block those cards and issue new cards that would come in 10 days with the full funds available since they were still unharmed just the physical cards was damaged. 10 days go by on XX/XX/XXXX my new cards come in the mail and I got to activate them but all the cards except one say they had {$0.00} available and the last card said it had {$5.00} pending but the other {$490.00} was spent. I called vanilla gift card immediately and asked where my funds were if they promised the money would be sent in the new cards sonce the old cards were cancelled 15 minutes after purchase when I called them to inform them about the XXXX being scaratched off. They said they were not sure what happend to the new cards but now I would need to do a dispute on the cards transactions bc they were used and spent even though i never had the new cards in my hand until XX/XX/XXXX and they were not activated until I called that same day and they were already spent. They had me email dispute information of proof of purchase, activation codes on receipt and my ID and the original damaged vanilla goft cards. Since XX/XX/XXXX i have contacted them weekly in email and phone call form but they have not reissued my funds of {$2000.00} which they said they would be doing in 4 weeks. They do not email me back and have not verified they received all the requested information. They just keeps telling me to wait but no end date in sight. I really need my {$2000.00} back as I had to use savings to repurchase the gift cards else where for my kids XXXX gifts. I need help this is insane it can not get help anywhere to get any information and I have no money left now. Please help me.
